 Late Classic Circa 600 to 900 AD

A large circular pottery dish on raided tripod rattle legs and with flared rim. Decorated in polychrome in tondo is a central head of a Lord or Deity, probably the Maize God surrounded by a hieroglyphic inscription.
Size: 8-7/8 inch Diameter x 3-5/8 inches Height. Nice example.
Provenance: Ex Raymond Elmer Enkeboll CA collection.
