Large heavy wood post probably from ceremonial house, the curved top would have once supported part of the roof structure, the curved front displaying a spirit figure with large convex oval face, concentric ring eyes, tiny double perforated ears, one missing, and long cascading extension below face. Lower section cut away, minor losses and wear. Tan-brown rough patina, desiccated craggy texture.

Size 67 inches H. (170cm). + custom base.

Provenance: Dane and Todd McDowell Collection, OK, by inheritance from family; Ex. Ben Pickard Gallery, 2000s.
